Language Use in American Institutions in Chad: A Case of ExxonMobil and Equal Access International

The study of language use in multicultural setting has interested many researchers around the world several years back. This focuses American institutions Chad where English coexists with French and Arabic, official languages. A three-part questionnaire interviews served data collection on uses coexisting languages workplace domains. Results have shown that English, a foreign only used secondary schools some universities is progressively conquering work education domains selected institutions. are expanding as demand for better jobs run companies growing every day country Arabic supposed to dominate. At all three levels divisions namely, administrative level, general services level or security challenged by users English.
